I accepted a six-month assignment in another city and rather than worrying about getting all my bills forwarded to me during that time I simply opted to pay them online, using my credit card. In doing so I discovered it was a lot more convenient and easy. But what was also interesting was that my pest control company did not accept payments online and boy did that stick out like a sore thumb. They looked so out of touch by not offering merchant services. It made me wonder how deficient they were in other areas.
